Who is the player?
I don't really have a name for the player, but there are other information about him.
Every night something unknown sends a person (This person has no memory of anything before) to the graveyard, they have to protect Graveyard City, The undead can still harm the city (more on that later).
The Player is the first person who actually can survive the night, all other people before him died (There are a lot (15+ ?) graves with player heads on them, those are the graves of people who couldn't survive the night -> everybody before the player , of course the persons buried in those grave are not the only ones who tried to survive the night)
Who is RbHnieeor
At the beginning RbHnieeor talks to you, he is a citizen of graveyard city.
But when the moon rises his name and appearance changes , most players don't even notice, that he's talking, because they are sorting the inventory. But if you read what he says you might notice that his name slowly changes to Herobrine.
Although most players don't even notice him, he is the main villain of the map, his power makes the undead rise at the night, but at day he's just a normal villager and a citizen of graveyard city.
The Story - Night
There is not really that much story, to the night.
The later it gets, the more powerful Herobrine is, and so he makes stronger creatures rise. When you have survived the night the citizen of graveyard city allow you to enter their city.
The Story - Day
Forge
If you play the map, you may notice that you can enter the forge after surviving the night, the reason why the player gets free weapon/armor is because the blacksmith wants to thank the player for helping their city, by defeating undead
TNT Shop
At first the player is just being a nice person, he has no memory, no home, no family, no anything.
So he can't really do anything, so he decides that he could just help the villagers. (Sometimes there are no villagers on the map, but that's a bug). That's why he searches for the TNT .
Clock tower
When the player leaves the TNT shop, he notices that the tower is now suddenly open, he looks into it and sees the strange machine in the basement, slowly the player notices, that there is something wrong in graveyard city (Not only in the night, but also at day)
The labyrinth
The player now does not longer know what to do, so he decides, to look for an entrance into the ocean monument, after he finds one, he discovers the labyrinth in the Ocean monument. interested to find out what secrets the labyrinth hides, he enters it. The only thing he can find is a button, which drains his power (It feels like someone is draining his power). Then he hears growls
Puzzle dungeon
Terrified by the growls the player looks for someone who can help him, then he discovers the house which only has a basement, no other floors, after he goes trough the whole dungeon, he discovers that it hides nothing.
King
Depressed the player continues to search for clues on what the growls are, he then notices the open door of the ruin, and he enters it, there he fights the King, every time the king is hit, he summons new servants.
But a king without a kingdom wouldn't make sense, right?
So where is the Kingdom?
We Already talked About it at the beginning.
The undead are actually able to harm the city, if the person who was sent fails to fast (none survived yet, except the player)
And that's why there is no kingdom, the undead ruled by Herobrine destroyed the kingdom, the last part of the kingdom which is still there, is graveyard city. After the undead killed the king, the remaining citizen of the kingdom buried their king in the last remaining city.
Herobrine doesn't know that the king is buried Under the city, but his power over the undead still resurrects the king. The only reason why the king is evil is because you entered his grave
After the player defeated the king he hears that the growls are getting louder.
Potion Merchant
The player doesn't give up on searching for someone who can give him information about the growls. Finally he finds the Potion Merchant, the merchant knows something, but he won't tell him. The player searches for the merchant's lost potions, and after finding them the merchant decides to tell you about the growls
He tells you to go to another town, that wasn't part of the kingdom
Enderpriest
The player goes to the other town, where he finds a weird portal in the church, after using the portal the player finds himself in a volcano.
In the volcano the player sees a weird priest, who looks like an enderman, who is trying to summon something.
And then the player suddenly realizes what is happening, the Enderpriest is trying to summon the Enderdragon.
The player tries to kill the Enderpriest as fast as possible.
The he kills the Enderpriest, and he doesn't see an Ender dragon anywhere, but then the energy that was set free through the death of the priest suddenly teleports the player back to the city.
Ender Dragon
Back in graveyard city the player is happy that he managed to defeat the Enderpriest. And then he hears the growls again, and he realizes that the Enderpriest didn't try to summon the Ender dragon, he tried to resurrect it, and he did it in the last seconds of his life. (There is an Ender Dragon grave)
The End
But there are still some questions open...
What happened to Herobrine ?
He's still alive
Will zombies still appear on the graveyard ?
Yes, Herobrine was not killed, killing his minions weakened him, but he is still alive.
I will probably make a The Graveyard 2 map where the player has to defeat Herobrine, so that all nights will be free of undeads
More Information
2. The Player is sent by a unknown Person, each night this unknown Person send someone to the graveyard without any memories, but None of the sent persons survived yet. These Persons have to defend the rest of the kingdom. Most of them died at the END of the night, so herobrine can't really destroy much of the City, because it's nearly day, but If the Person dies at the begining of the night herobrine has time to destroy stuff, the last Thing he wants to destroy is Graveyard City, because he hides there and he summons the undead there
3. Herobrine isn't really evil (Notch confirmed that he's a friend), but In my map he is still evil.
He doesn't really do anything visible in the map, except talking to you in the beginning, but his power resurrected all undead (also the Enderpriest)
So the enderpriest is a powerful minion of Herobrine
4. The merchant mob is an merchant who died and was buried on the graveyard, because he was really rich he Drops valuable stuff, like Gold coins and Nether Stars, but These Items are not important to the Story (The Gold coins are the currency of the kingdom, but the villagers give you everything for free, because you've helped them, by killing undead)
5. The McTsts jockey is just an easter egg (I think it shouldn't be part of the Story)
